Carla Belliard

Carla Belliard is a homebirth midwife, a Food Scientist (with over 7 years of experience in nutritional supplementation and pregnancy nutrition), yoga instructor, childbirth educator, adult learning specialist and children’s development specialist. She was born and raised in the Dominican Republic but currently calls Utah her home. She’s a mom to a beautiful girl, married to her best friend and is Utah's first AfroLatina midwife (and determined to not be the only one!).

Carla provides high quality, accessible, trauma informed, individualized maternal care to families in the community, specially for those who've previously been underserved and unrepresented, such as BIPOC/Latinx.

She’s made it a goal to develop a subsidized/donation based system for those who are financially burdened and has been able to provide subsidized care to six families in need (within the last 6 months) with the collaboration of some amazing community midwives!
